hey im a permanent resident and was just about to become a naturalized citizen but when i went to the interview it said that my mom, my sister, and i had a deportation on 1995. Right now im 22, at that time i was only 6, now i've asked about my problem to immigation officers and everyone has said that being a minor that does not go into my record. In 1997 my parents put in my sister's and my paper's, including my mom's, and in 2000 my sister and i where able to become residents and my mom was deported and was sent to mexico. On 2004 i had to renew my residence card, but what i don't understand is that if i was able to become a resident and was able to renew my residence card how come 16 years later this happens to me. my sister did the same process last year and she was able to become citizen, but nothing was found in her file. Almost 8 years ago my husband began speaking to a girl who lives in Australia, every time he has tried to quit talking to her she has gained access to his contact list for his phone that is synchronized with his gmail account and begins calling everyone on the list. Last november she set up a complete scam of her being abducted and raped and had a three year old child with her, obviously my husband believing this to be true called police and fbi got involved because of possible abduction. The whole story was completely made up, my husband ended up being arrested even though the fbi saw all the messages she was sending (she was not even in the country she set scam up from australia). Now she is calling companies I deal with trying to get all my information. She was able to access his cell phone account and change all his information on it, and is now sending threatening messages about contacting his probation officer to make sure his life is completely F**ked. I attend college and she has tried withdrawling me from college. She is a complete nut job, and after speaking to FBI that dealt with this to begin with the only thing they are telling me that we can do is get a restraining order. Why is she not being dealt with? He was on house arrest for 6 months and could not go anywhere and she showed up where he had to stay. Of course she was forced to leave, but the fact remains the same, he couldn't go anywhere, and if she were to do something he would not have been able to protect himself. We have a 10 year old son, and she has called on his cell phone, it is completely out of control and I can't seem to get any answers on how to get this person to stop. We are completely afraid to do anything where she might be able to get our information, find out where we live now, and afraid that she may do something else. I am at a loss and feel completely helpless, my husband doesn't know what to do, because if he doesn't answer her she goes completely balistic. Like I said we have made contact with FBI and now with an attorney, however she keeps going and it doesn't seem after almost 8 years that there is ever going to be an end to this. We know she has relatives here so she comes to the states, and this is what scares us, what is she gonna do when she is here? I live in California and moved into my house 2 months ago. My husband and I paid our half of rent and security deposit. Okay, so here's the deal. I have to oppourtunity to work at a summer camp as a cadet staff member. I would work at a cadet military training center. I would get paid 70/day for 7 weeks. I would have to wake up at 5 am and go to sleep no earlier than 10pm, except if you had the evening off. My duties would be to take after cadets, take them where their training takes place, watch them, teach them, socialise with them, make them have a good experience, march them everywhere. so on, so on... I did this last year and I didn't have a good experience. A lot of officers yelled and everyone was basically treated like crap. The camp is 3 hrs away from my home and I would have one oppourtunity to go home. I dont want to go because I dont want to be away from my family for 7 weeks because of certain health issues close family members are going, I have had a very hard year this past school year and I feel as if I just need a break, I have iron problems which cause me to get tired easily and I need a lot more sleep than the average person ( i know i sound lazy ).. , I dont want to be away from my whole life, Ive also graduated from highschool this year and this will be the only summer I have to actually relax. ( I have been going to the military base since I was 12, Im 18 now) .. I fee pushed to go because all the adults in my life are telling me to go 24/7. The only reasons i want to go is for the money and to do fitness training every day.... Can you please help me make a decision please?

Police Officers lurked around my house on a tuesday night, due to criminal activity in my area. I came out my house to find out why...they ran my license and told me they were just making sure, following proper protocol. The next day, I come home from work and they now have a search warrant and now have arrested me, linking me to the criminal activities in the area, along with similar cases that were going on for a few weeks. They advised me this has been an ongoing investigation, and they have set up surveillance around my house. Now, mind you they had a description of the suspect, in which matches mine a little, but they came to my house the night before, but no arrest. So now you come back the next day and i'm accused of the crimes. You found no evidence, linking me, just my description, which favors many...and you have caused me to miss maybe about 5 days of work, you have my name in the papers as if you really got your guy (humiliation) and your holding me on 1/2 million dollar bail. The reason I ask if able to sue, because obviously as the night progressed you have created a case against me with no proof, and you have also said dogs led you to my location. One important factor here, that i didn't mention...the time of the crimes, i was working! My supervisor is able to testify that and provide proof. Shouldn't you have a little more proof than a description before you make your arrest?

Dui leads to cop brutality what can i do?

I had a dui last night, and first off i dont think the officer had reasonable doubt to make me blow. Deciding that it wasnt worth fighting over it with him i blew. He said i blew a .141, he cuffed me and put me in the back of his vehicle and did not read me my miranda rights. We get back to the police station, i asked to make a phone call he said in a second, i told him if i need a ride i have to let them know now as it was already 3:30 am. She will not leave us alone and we are not getting rid of him he is now apart of the family I just don't know what to do.

i think nude would be best, all that black is not very stylish. If you can find some nude tights that have a little shimmer, it will actually look very nice. hair and make up sound good. Dont be so crtitical of yourself, youre size is more common than you think...a size 14 is the most common size for women. Those shaper things work sometimes, and sometimes they roll and itch and can become really hot, especially in a club!!! It will be dim lighting in the club, so youll have some forgiveness from the lighting. Have fun, and don't worry so much about how you look...confidence carries you a long way.

Is our landlord responsible for hotel bills caused by uninhabitable rental unit.?

My Apartment which is on a one year lease became Uninhabitable when the electricity was turned off. The 3 unit rental only has one PGE meter and the main house which was supposed to pay the bill. The occupants of the main house were in the process of being evicted. The refused the pay the bill and the PGE was turned off. The landlord refused to pay the PGE until the occupants vacated the premises. This in effect made the other 2 units Uninhabitable. We were forced to move into a hotel. Is the landlord legally responsible for any of the hotel cost's?

My 5-6 year old rottie has been deemed dangerous by our town for two "bites," however they were scratches, as written in the police reports. One of them is due to a teenager harassing our dog by scaring her with a mask on, after we told him to stay away from our dog. That teenagers family told the selectmen that she is extremely dangerous and pushed to have her euthanized. Now we have 7 days to place her in a no-kill dog sanctuary or she will be put down. She is an excellent dog and she doesn't deserve to be put down, she is being discriminated against because of her breed. Even the dog officer said it's because of her breed- it scares people. Can i get burglary charge dropped to unlawful entry?

Back in December I was arrested for Burglary and Grand Larceny. I got really sloppy dunk one night and went home to a friends house. I don't exactly remember what happened but apparently I got up in the middle of the night still drunk and walked out with their laptop then walked down the road and walked into ( not broke into ) someone else house and took something from that persons house. Now the first memory that i really have of any of this is me walking down the street. I don't know why i was doing it though. And the next thing i remember is i was standing in someones drive way wandering where i was and then the police showed up guns drawn telling me to get on the ground. I didn't have anything in my possession when they arrested me. I was told by one of the police officers once i got to the station that they found the property that i had taken in the yard about a block or so away from where they found me. Apparently i set it down or something while i was walking. So ultimately they charged me with Grand Larceny and Burglary of a dwelling. Due to what happened I have accepted that i might have some kind of drinking problem and have completely stopped drinking. I'm currently going a church pastor once a week for counseling. I don't have money for an attorney so i have petitioned for a public defender. I had someone tell me that since i don't have a criminal record ( other than a DUI 4 yrs ago ) and i've never been charged with a felony before that the prosecutor could reduce the charges to unlawful entry or something. I just to know if this is true and if so what are my chances of getting them reduced. This happened in Mississippi by the way. Thank you in advance.

Over an 8 week period in Feb and March my 23 year old daughter was subjected to leers, bottom and leg touching and finally was cornered and kissed fully on the lips by her 60 year old senior officer. when i was arrested they would not give me either of my scrips while i was in incarseration. witch resulted in me having seizures. to witch i was also denied medical attention. when i was arrested in the first place i was involved in an accident on a motorcycle i was bleeding everywhere they said i was traveling over 100 mph. but when the ambulance showed up the cops sent them away.i was then taken strait to jail. upon our arrival at the jail a seargent asked the arresting officer what i was doing there and to take me to the hospital for xrays after geting there he told the doctors i didnt need any and promptly returned me to the jail,and while i was there they denied me of my seizure medications. my question is, is there a law that requires them to have a doctor see me before they put me in a cell? and is there any laws that say they have to give me my meds while im in custody when in fact they are aware of the fact i do have to take them.

I am currently enlisted and in future soldier training, so i will go to basic prepared possibly as a E-2 i have a GED and plan on going to collage while active. Now i hear its hard to go from National Guard or Reserves back to Active, is it the same for Officers? Or should i stay in Active and slowly get my 4 or 6 year then go to ROTC or whatever. If the boy is paralyzed from the neck down due to the accident I'm quite certain he will not be placed in a prison environment. There are no facilities for such a person in a normal state or federal prison. It's possible he could placed in a state hospital that is "prison-like" usually reserved for those with mental problems who are also criminals. In my opinion, to save the taxpayers from supporting the boy, I would allow him to return to his family on lifetime probation on his own recognizance but unable to travel or move without the approval of the court. If the boy is 15 he has along time to think of the stupid act that led to the death of another human being and his own tragedy. It is truly one of the saddest stories I have ever heard.

I was just wondering if there is an established maximum acceleration allowed by a California Highway Patrol Officer (or any other type of peace officer in the state of California) when in pursuit of an assailant. Both are needed in society and they both serve in different ways. Its not about who you respect more but maybe who you like more: ) I notice that firefighters tend to form closer bonds with one another because they live together and therefore tend to be far more compassionate. I was a Probation Officer and then was charged with assault that was dropped to disorderly person. My son's dad and I were arguing and i pushed him. He called the police to just get me in trouble, which I did. Now I'm on probation myself for 6 mos, out of work, and wondering where my life is headed.
