How to fight a dui or reduce charged?

I had a dui last night, the officer took me in a blew .141, this is my first offense. I am curios is to what is my best option for defending myself in court and what i should plead. Also what would be the best and worst outcome. The lawyer i went and spoke to gave me a few options on fighting the dui. the one that sounded the best was lose my license for 45 days with full reinstatement after. ( what is this called). Please help, i have never drunk and drove before, and never plan to again. This is one of those times where i was at the wrong place at the wrong time and making an irresponsible choice.
