Sexual harassment by senior manager?
Over an 8 week period in Feb and March my 23 year old daughter was subjected to leers, bottom and leg touching and finally was cornered and kissed fully on the lips by her 60 year old senior officer. HR was informed and basically nothing was done but he did apologise. My daughter was supposed to be management material before all this. She decided to be grown up about it all and continued to work but now is no longer considered for promotion and a job which she had been working towards was given to some one else without allowing her to apply. As a result she became seriously depressed and feels she had no option but to resign as she believes she no longer has a future in the company and because she feels her rejection of her senior officer's advances has damaged her career. Could she resign and claim constructive dismissal> Could she claim for sexual harassment?
